Jan Kersten was born in Berlin and trained as a photographer in the early 90s. He gained 7 years of experience in print media, PR / marketing, event photography and completed an apprenticeship as a webmaster / programmer at the time when digitalization conquered the world.

In 2000 he founded the creative agency JOE-Studios and covered the whole range of freelance work as a photographer, webmaster and graphic designer for his clients.
